Adjunct Faculty Member

The Clinical Psychology PsyD program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington, DC. is searching for an adjunct faculty to teach Social Bases of Behavior (see below) this Fall.  The Fall semester begins 8/26 and lasts 15 weeks, and the class meets 2 hours and 50 minutes once a week. The Department Chair will work with the adjunct to find a day and time that mutually fits scheduling needs. 

Interested individuals should have doctoral training in psychology, and be appropriately qualified to each social bases (e.g., Ph.D. in Social Psychology, have graduate level teaching experience in the course, and/or research experience).

PY 451D - Social Bases of Behavior

This course focuses on the role of societal and environmental factors in the initiation and maintenance of human behavior patterns from childhood through late adolescence and young adulthood. The course will consider the implications of socio-environmental factors in youth development for the practicing psychologist. Cultural and individual differences are also emphasized. (3 credits)
