The College of Psychology at Nova Southeastern University (http://psychology.nova.edu) invites qualified applications for a faculty position in Social Psychology. Applicants will be reviewed for rank commensurate with experience and scholarship.
The successful candidate is expected to have a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and student supervision within his or her area of expertise, and to be actively involved in research and scholarship with expectations to publish, supervise students, and seek external funding to support a research program. Faculty teach undergraduate and master's level classes, such as: Social Psychology; Stereotypes, Prejudice, and Discrimination; Multicultural Issues in Psychology; and electives in their own specialty area of research. Faculty will supervise both undergraduate students and master's students.
For this faculty position (Position #994885) a candidate with research experience in the field of social psychology is strongly preferred. Individuals with expertise in cross-cultural/multicultural psychology or in the topics of stereotypes/prejudice/discrimination are especially encouraged to apply.
