Ashoka University is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position in social psychology. This position is open to candidates at any level – assistant, associate, and full professor. Successful candidates are expected to have a commitment to teaching excellence and to research productivity in psychological science. We are especially interested in research areas pertaining to emotions, behavioural change, and/or social cognition, but candidates with other research interests will also be given full consideration. The faculty hired will help shape the psychology department, in addition to offering basic courses (e.g., introductory psychology, statistics, research methods, critical thinking seminars), and/or teaching a core course in social psychology, as well as elective courses within their areas of expertise.

Pay and research support are competitive.
