Position Description

The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Johns Hopkins University ( invites applications for a full-time Junior Lecturer.  This position will contribute to the department’s educational mission by providing Teaching Assistant support for faculty-taught undergraduate-level courses.  The anticipated annual course load is eight courses during the academic year (four courses per semester) and may include a variety of content areas including research methods, research design, and data analysis/ statistics for experimental psychology.  Duties will likely include leading smaller course discussion sections, grading, and assisting students in office hours. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and faculty benefits options including health and retirement plan participation.  The anticipated start date is Fall 2019.

Previous graduate-level coursework (or equivalent) in statistics and research methods is required.  While a Master’s degree is preferred, we will also consider candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree if they have a strong foundation in statistics and/ or research methods.
