Postdoctoral Research Fellow
The Doerr Institute for New Leaders
The Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University is seeking to fill a position for a postdoctoral research fellow to help design, plan, and execute leader development programming for students across the university.
This is a practitioner role, similar to a full-time role in HR talent management departments in industry.
The individual will be expected to help deliver training in addition to helping to design training programs, so experience teaching and/or training is important. A record of publication in academic, social science journals is desirable but not required, although successful applicants must be able to read and evaluate academic research on leader development. Having compelling practitioner experience in the realm of leader development or talent management is also desirable. The full-time position is for 12 months (beginning fall of 2019) with the possibility of renewal for 1 additional year.
