The Department of Psychology at Connecticut College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in Social/Health Psychology with research/teaching expertise in neuroscience to begin July 1, 2027. Specialization is open, with a preference for expertise in how social, biological and neural factors combine to influence physical health, mental well-being, and social behavior. A Ph.D. in Psychology or Neuroscience is required at the time of appointment. We seek an engaged teacher of undergraduates who can offer Social and/or Health Psychology, Research Methods in Psychology, and develop elective courses for our Psychology Major and interdisciplinary program in Neuroscience within the candidate’s area of expertise.  Dedicated undergraduate research mentoring within the context of an active research program is also central to this position, as well as academic advising of students in Psychology and Neuroscience.
