The Department of Psychology & Neuroscience at DePauw University invites applications for a tenure track position in Social-Cultural Psychology, broadly defined, at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 2026. A doctoral degree in psychology or appropriate allied area completed by August 2026 is preferred; ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Assistant Professor in Social-Cultural Psychologycommitted to teaching at an undergraduate liberal arts and sciences university and to establishing a program of research that actively engages undergraduate students. Teaching load is 6 courses per year (3/3 plus a 0.5 credit extended studies course once every three years), and will include Social Psychology and Introductory Psychology, and other courses that will include Research Methods and/or Statistics, and other courses/topics within the candidate’s expertise as needed. Preference will be given to candidates integrating cultural perspectives in teaching and research. Funding is available for professional development and research with undergraduate students.
