Academic Positions: Assistant Professor

We are excited to invite applications for Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Social Psychology (equivalent to tenure-track Assistant Professor) at the University of Auckland. We are particularly interested in applicants whose research area can connect with and extend existing research and teaching strengths in Social Psychology, including (but not limited to) interpersonal relationships, intergroup relations, and political psychology.

Applicants will need to demonstrate the capacity to achieve research excellence, obtain external research funds, and contribute to the development of research and teaching programs in Social Psychology. The successful applicant will contribute to undergraduate teaching, postgraduate teaching, and research supervision in Social Psychology. We encourage diversity in our staff and students. Appointees should be able to teach students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
