The Social Action Lab is looking for a research coordinator to contribute to research organization and design, participant recruitment, data analysis, and preparation of papers, grant proposals, and reports. We conduct basic lab experiments, surveys, social media research, and interventions in the areas of communication and persuasion, motivation and behavioral change, and health.
Job Description and Responsibilities
· Lead the planning and management of complex projects, working with internal and external collaborators.
· Develop study protocols, write grants, and manage project timelines.
· Analyze data, contribute to questionnaires, as well as draft reports and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
· Collaborate on study development and protocols, maintain study databases, and ensure data integrity.
· Analyze data for grant-funded research projects, prepare reports, and design research studies in a prioritized manner.
· Write papers and reports.
Qualifications
Experience in research or social psychology-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required. At least three graduate statistics classes. Organization and ability to work in multitasking environments with a results-oriented approach. Proficiency in Python and R a plus.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with a focus on delivering results on an ongoing basis and completing project goals within the 9-month timeframe. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects, developing solutions to technical problems. Ability to communicate effectively across the ecosystem of academic researchers, clinical providers, and local communities are essential. High accuracy, dependability, and attention to detail.
This position is contingent upon grant funding and may be extended if there is additional funding.
Hybrid working arrangement ineligible. Up to 10% of travel to research sites may be required.
