Post-doctoral Position
The Climate Cognition and Sustainability & Social Change Labs at Stanford University seek a Postdoctoral Scholar, focused on the psychological and sociopolitical dimensions of climate impacts, beliefs and solutions (e.g. behaviors, policies), for a full time, 1 year (potentially renewable) appointment in the Department of Environmental Social Sciences in the Doerr School of Sustainability at Stanford University. 
 
Postdoc Appointment Term: 2025-2026, with potential to renew
 
Required Qualifications: 

Highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with extensive experience as follows;

  • Ph.D. in Psychology, Political Science, Economics, Sociology or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated interest in the study of climate impacts, action, beliefs, collective action, policy, or politics.
  • Substantial experience coding in R or Python.
  • Strong statistics or econometric skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work well in complex, multidisciplinary environments.
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • English language skills (verbal and written) must be strong.
Pay Range: $71,650-$74,934
