Research Coordinator and Research & Communications Coordinator

The Behavior Change for Good Initiative at the University of Pennsylvania is recruiting for

two full-time research staff positions to support the work of Professors Katherine Milkman and Angela Duckworth, in addition to the many experts in behavioral science on the BCFG Scientific Team: A Research Coordinator and a Research and Communications Coordinator, both to start in June 2025. 


Both the Research Coordinator and the Research and Communications Coordinator will work on the analysis of field data from a wide variety of settings and assist with the implementation and management of field experiments on behavior change. The Research and Communications Coordinator will also help communicate the findings from these projects to diverse audiences. These positions are ideal for individuals seeking to gain more research experience before applying to graduate programs in behavioral science or related fields.

Qualifications for Research Assistant

Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. A background in Economics, Psychology, Behavioral Economics, or Behavioral Science is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, have taken courses on econometrics, be proficient in either STATA or R, and feel comfortable working on UNIX servers.

Qualifications for Research and Communications Assistant

Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. A background in Economics, Psychology, Behavioral Economics, or Behavioral Science is preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and experience with the Microsoft Office suite and digital communication and design applications (e.g., Twitter, Wordpress, Mailchimp, and Canva).
