Role Description
The APA accredited Clinical Psychology department at The Chicago School in Los Angeles, CA, seeks candidates to fill Adjunct Faculty positions for the Summer 2024 semester. There are sections of some doctoral-level classes still available. Those courses are listed below. The semester starts May 6th and runs through June 24th. All courses will be taught on-ground at our Downtown LA campus. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality, engaging lectures and other learning activities, tracking student progress, grading assessments, providing feedback, and holding office hours. Qualifications
--For the Social Bases course, required qualifications include either: a) a PhD/PsyD in clinical psychology with publications/presentations in social psychology/social cognition, b) a PhD in social psychology/social cognition/experimental psychology with a social psychology emphasis, or c) PhD/PsyD in clinical psychology and a MA in social psychology.
--For the Cognitive Affective course, required qualifications include either: a) a PhD/PsyD in clinical psychology with publications/presentations in cognitive psychology/social cognition, b) a PhD in cognitive psychology/social cognition/experimental psychology with a cognitive psychology emphasis, or c) PhD/PsyD in clinical psychology and a MA in cognitive psychology.
--Completion of an APA accredited program preferred if applicant graduated from a clinical program.
--Teaching experience preferred.
--Capacity to work with a diverse population including students from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and learning requirements.
